Day 3 - Hohenschwangau Castle and on to Salzburg! 8/6/25

My post contentStarted the morning with our included breakfast and the a early tour at Hohenschwangau Castle. After a quick walk back to the hotel and checkout we took a taxi back to the train station in Fuessen. We managed to catch a earlier train than we planned and hope to arrive in Salzburg early. Today will be a 4 train trip. Two trains to Munich and then two to Salzburg. We purchased a Eurorail pass that is good for 4 different days within a 30 day period.

We had a close call for our last connection but they held the train and we arrived in Salzburg. Hour earlier then planned.

A quick walk from the train station to our hotel and then dinner and a early turn in for the night.
