After decades of working, raising a family, and dreaming about what comes next - 2025 finally answered that question. We retired, packed our bags, and decided the world wasn't going to explore itself.

We're Amy and Tom, a couple from Connecticut who spent our careers looking forward to exactly this: the freedom to go wherever curiosity takes us. No itinerary too ambitious. No destination too far. No sea day wasted.

What started as a bucket list has turned into something bigger - 122 days of documented adventures across oceans, rivers, ports, and cities we'd only ever seen in magazines. From the Cape Verde islands to the coast of Morocco, from Lisbon to Greenwich, we're living proof that the best chapter doesn't have to be the first one.

We share everything here - the highlights, the hidden gems, the honest moments, and the occasional travel hiccup.
