Day 2 - 6 Sailing to Hawaii

What we did
It's amazing how the days fly by when you are at sea. We have been attending lectures by the resident historian, wildlife photographer and a retired NASA astronaut. We have been learning Mahjong from 9am-11am and Amy has been learning how to crochet at 11. Walks and workouts have been on the schedule daily. We have been meeting the most wonderful people. One couple taught us how to play Rummikub and we've taught another how to play cribbage.

We have also received two more celebratory bottles of champagne and cake from Viking to commemorate Amy and Toms' retirements.

Special food events have included Taco night, a Doughnut bar and Cheesecake bar.

There has also been much time for reading books that we have both brought with.

Facebook Discussion Groups - for this cruise, we joined the "Viking World Cruise 2025 - 2026" months ago which provided us with a wonderful way to get tips and questions answered.

Tom and I often pick a round table for four up at the World Kitchen. That way people often ask to join us and it's a great way to meet new people.
