As the sun set on our final day of golf at River Run Golf Course, a sense of nostalgia washed over everyone involved. This beloved course, while experiencing its share of wear and tear, has been a cherished gathering place for many golfers. Unfortunately, this year's final day of play revealed a course that was not in its best shape, with noticeable fairway rot affecting several areas. However, the spirit of competition and camaraderie remained strong among the players.

The temperatures and humidity on our last day were noticeably higher than usual, which posed additional challenges for all players.
